Howard concentrates on vetting new, disruptive opportunities using XL TechGroup’s proven methodology, as well as working with existing XL TechGroup subsidiaries to develop and execute their strategic plans.
Prior to joining XL TechGroup in October 2006, Howard was an Associate Practice Executive in the Business Development consulting group of Campbell Alliance, a specialized management consulting firm serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. In that role, he facilitated and managed licensing efforts between small, medium, and large pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Before working at Campbell Alliance, Howard was Director of Business Development at Global Cell Solutions (GCS) in Charlottesville, VA, where he focused on designing partnership programs and strategies for GCS’ novel cell culture platform. Other positions include Senior Legislative Assistant for US Representative Peter Deutsch and Legislative Correspondent for Senator Evan Bayh, where he implemented legislative agendas in areas of foreign affairs, business, and trade.
Howard has a B.A. from Harvard University, and an MBA and a Juris Doctorate, both from the University of Virginia.
